Instruction for Authors Policies
The Atlas does not publish research articles. The Atlas publishes reviews articles ("Papers/cards" and "Deep Insights") mainly, and a few "Case reports" in hematology. Most of the review articles are commitioned papers (97% of the papers), but unsolicited papers are welcome. Authors of review articles are selected according to the quality of their previous publications in the literature (sort of reviewing process 'a priori'). Review articles are reviewed by the Editor, Section Editor, and/or Editorial board members. Unsolicited papers are papers of the Case report section (3% of the papers), where the reviewing process is 'a posteriori', and must be extremely cautious. There is 1 inside reviewer and 3 to 4 outside reviewers for each Case report. The Editor-in-Chief keeps the final authority on all editorial decisions.
